Disability Evening and Presentation of Wheelchair at C4C

Challenge 4 Change continues to improve and build on our excellent facilities. We recently held an open night for disabled users to take a look around and suggest improvements to the centre. Guests included The Right Worshipful Mayor of the City of Salford, Councillor George William Wilson and his Lady Mayoress Carole Wilson.

Visitors were impressed and excited by the possibility of being able to engage in adventurous activities which are often inaccessible. Work has already commenced and is set to continue to meet the changing needs of our client base.

Project Director, Chris Whiteley, stated, "As C4C promotes teamwork and teams are made up of individuals, we want to accommodate as many different teams as possible, no matter how diverse they are".

CEO of C4C, Dave Djordjevic said, "This is an exciting time for C4C, in addition to being unique by being indoors we want to stand out for being unique in our approach, encouraging people who may not usually be able to access such facilities, helping them realise their potential and raise their aspirations".

The evening also saw the presentation of a brand new wheelchair to Charlotte Horrocks. Challenge 4 Change, along with Partners, has undertaken fundraising events to raise money for Charlotte's chair and Charlotte's mum Virginia said "Thank you so much for doing this it will make a massive difference to Charlotte's quality of life".
