Frequently Asked Questions

How Safe is it?

When you’re doing activities 35-feet up in the air you need to know you’re safe.

"Teamwork, adrenalin rush"

We take safety extremely seriously and we ensure everyone who comes to Challenge 4 Change knows what they’re doing and has the right attitude to take on all elements within the arena. Before you head out onto the course, you’ll be given a safety briefing by one of our qualified instructors. Then you will go through a number of exercises at low level to ensure you have the capacity to move on. It’s not complicated, but it’s important and it will give you confidence to get maximum benefit from the time you spend with us.

How fit do I need to be?

Challenge 4 Change does require a degree of physical fitness but if you can climb up a rope ladder you will be fine, it isn’t a race, slow and steady is fine by us.

What are the age requirements?

You need to be at least 10 years old (school Y5 or above) to take part.

Are there any other requirements apart from age?

Yes, because of equipment limitations, and safety considerations we also have the following requirements:

  • Minimum Height: 1.4m (4' 7)
  • Minimum Weight: 6 stones (39kgs)
  • Maximum Weight: 21 stones (133kg) (although this does depend upon waist size as the main factor is harness limitations)

If you have any medical conditions, including pregnancy, please contact your doctor for advice about taking part

I want a go! What do I need to do?

At the moment we only accept group groupings of between 10 to 40 people. Please contact us for more details

Are there parking facilities?

Parking is limited. Most groups will travel by coach/bus but there are spaces that can be reserved when booking
