C4C Dinner makes the Point
The second C4C dinner at Lancashire County Cricket Club's fantastic new venue "The Point" was a tremendous occasion.
Over 200 guests attended and had a wonderful night compered by Andrew Nickeas. They were wowed by a stunning performance
from Jon Christos and Jenny Williams. Manchester City and England Legend Mike Summerbee then regaled the audience with
stories of his life as a professional footballer, film star and also of his close friendship with George Best.
An auction of items that can be seen below was eloquently and humorously performed by comedian Bill Woolland.
The event has raised over £7,000 in total and we wish to thank our sponsors for the evening, the main entertainers mentioned above,
everyone who attended on the night as well as our volunteers those who donated auction and raffle prizes. We also give particular
thanks to the following for ex City players attending: Tony Book, Dennis Tueart, Paul Lake, Neil Pointon, Richard Edgehill,
